STUDENT ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT DIVISION (STEDI)

Co-operative and Entrepreneurship Development Institute (CEDI) or Institut Pembangunan Keusahawanan dan Koperasi, was originally known as the centre of Business and Entrepreneur Development or Pusat Perniagaan dan Pembangunan Usahawan (PPPU). CEDI began its operation as a "Centre" on 1st March 1990 and was duly upgraded to an "Institute" on 1st November 1993 parallel with the advancement as well as growth in national entrepreneurial activities and development needs. 

The Training, Consultation and Siswaniaga Division is one of the main task of CEDI UUM in providing entrepreneurship training to University students to those who are interested in doing business and provide encouragement and support to those who have done small business. As such, this Division provides various programs training and workshops as well as clinics to produce entrepreneurs from various fields of study and and also provide exposure to students through the Entrepreneurship Disclosure Program held in every semester.

Consultation programs are also held to help local entrepreneurs consisting of micro and SME entrepreneurs. Funds provided by external agencies such as MADA, PKNK, FELCRA, FELDA and so on.

Collaboration with external parties is held to obtain funds to provide training and hold entrepreneurship programs for University students and local entrepreneur (SME’’s and Micro).
